Ukraine Update 2023 Week 21

Russia used to have the 2nd best military on the planet. Now Russia has the 2nd best military in the Ukraine!

Ukraine has continued to out perform the Russian military. This week is one more example of their OODA Loop exploits. Let’s take a look:

A military operation was launched against Russian soil from Ukraine. The military force going into Russia were all Russian Passport holders. So, you cannot blame the Ukraine for this incursion. It is a “free people liberation” movement by Russian citizens. Will they push through to the Pacific Ocean? No, but that is not the goal.

With an incursion into Russia from the front lines, Putin is embarrassed once again. Now Russia now has to divert resources from protecting their occupied territory (for example Bakhmut) towards repelling this incursion. Then the Russian military will have to reinforce the entire Russian border to ensure Putin is not embarrassed again in the future. This is a political win for Ukraine on the world stage. Putin’s military is being crushed with the entire world watching.

Russian military sales are collapsing! Russia obtained a lot of hard cash over the decades selling military supplies around the world. Now, every small country can see how ineffective the Russian Doctrine is against the Ukraine. At the same time, they can see the Russian “advanced” weapons are not living up to the hype. This financial loss for Russia should last for the next couple of decades. I expect France, EU countries, and of course the USA to be the winners here.
